IR CUT FILTER is used to protect CCD/CMOS image sensor organ from attainted by the bad rays. For example, when our eyes do not wear the protected Oculars, I believe the flavor that clap eyes on sun’s rays directly can be realized by everybody. But the reaction of CCD/CMOS image sensor organ has more intensity than people, no more than it cannot radiate pain nothing more.

UV/IR Cut Filter
UV Cut Filters are long pass filters that block the UV wavelength range and transmit the visible. In machine vision applications they are used in front of a lens on a CCD or CMOS camera to protect the sensor from UV light, in absence of internal protection in the camera.
UV-IR Filter is a filter that can block UV and IR wavelength light and pass visible light only.It has a good usage of blocking UV and IR energy to prevent the sensor machine systems and components from damages. It allows good transmission of visible light without interfering the illumination of the light source. It is quite applicable to the digital projector system.

Polarizer
Polarizer,also called polarizing filter,abbreviation of PL.It includes Linear Polarizer and Circular Polarizer.An absorptive polarizer filters out the unwanted beams by absorbing them, and leaves behind just the desirable ones. The most common type of absorptive filter is a wire grid, which allows only a single type of beam to pass through.
Polarizers are most useful for increasing general outdoor color saturation and contrast.
